What intraday margin is

Intraday (“day-trading”) margin is credit a broker extends for positions that are closed before the session ends: it lets you open a position with less than the exchange margin, on the condition that you close it, or bring your account up to the exchange requirement, before a cut-off the broker sets. Brokers usually raise or suspend it around major scheduled events such as central-bank decisions and key economic releases, and can change it without notice. It is not a measure of risk: a contract's price moves the same whatever margin you post, and a smaller deposit means a loss can exceed your account balance sooner.

About AMP Futures

AMP Futures is a futures broker. This page records what AMP Futures publishes about itself: the firms that hold and clear customer accounts, the platforms it lists, how it describes commissions and market-data fees, and the margins on its public margin page, which gives intraday figures for 36 of the contracts this site tracks. Every value links to the page it came from, and anything we could not confirm from AMP Futures' own pages or the NFA register is listed under “Not verified”.

This is a record of published terms, not a review, a rating or a recommendation. Brokers change margins, prices and conditions often; AMP Futures' current terms always take precedence.

CommissionsAMP's commissions page does not publish per-contract rates; commissions are quoted on request, and customers pay exchange, clearing, NFA, data, platform and technology fees in addition. Separately published per-side charges include CQG and Rithmic trade routing at $0.10 per side per contract, and the account fee schedule lists a $25.00 per contract margin/80% daily loss limit liquidation fee.
Market data feesAMP publishes monthly non-professional exchange data fees (effective June 1, 2026) that vary by data feed: the CME Group bundle (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX) is $15.00 Level 1 (CQG, Rithmic) and $45.00 Level 2 (CQG, Rithmic, TT), or $5.00 Level 1 / $17.00 Level 2 per exchange. Fees are charged for the full calendar month even if enabled for one day, are per username, data is switched off for accounts under USD 100 equity at month end, and Rithmic connections carry a separate $25.00 per month per user ID fee.
