- Ironbeam's “Overnight Margin” column. The page groups it with exchange margins (“Exchange/overnight margins fluctuate daily”) but doesn't say whether it is initial or maintenance.
Figures as printed; “—” means no figure we can read. The exchange margin for each contract is on its margin page; broker overnight figures are shown as the broker labels them and may differ from it. Source: https://www.ironbeam.com/margins/.
What intraday margin is
Intraday (“day-trading”) margin is credit a broker extends for positions that are closed before the session ends: it lets you open a position with less than the exchange margin, on the condition that you close it, or bring your account up to the exchange requirement, before a cut-off the broker sets. Brokers usually raise or suspend it around major scheduled events such as central-bank decisions and key economic releases, and can change it without notice. It is not a measure of risk: a contract's price moves the same whatever margin you post, and a smaller deposit means a loss can exceed your account balance sooner.
About Ironbeam
Ironbeam is a futures broker. This page records what Ironbeam publishes about itself: the firms that hold and clear customer accounts, the platforms it lists, how it describes commissions and market-data fees, and the margins on its public margin page, which gives intraday figures for 36 of the contracts this site tracks. Every value links to the page it came from, and anything we could not confirm from Ironbeam's own pages or the NFA register is listed under “Not verified”.
This is a record of published terms, not a review, a rating or a recommendation. Brokers change margins, prices and conditions often; Ironbeam's current terms always take precedence.
